Kurdish MOI, US commander discuss security situation
Erbil (NINA) – Kurdistan Minister of Interior, Kareem Sinjari, discussed with American forces deputy commander the situations in Iraq, Kurdistan region, and disputed areas.
In an official statement, NINA received a copy; the two sides tackled also the cooperation between the Iraqi Army, Peshmirga, and US forces to protect the security of Iraq.
The statement added “the minister hailed the training of the police forces by the US forces,” stressing that it is very important for these forces to benefit from the US forces’ experience in security.
