Arab Foreign Ministers hold session 9 Cairo

SPA - Prince Saud reiterated the call upon all factions in Somalia to give priority to national interest, end violence and conflict and reach a comprehensive reconciliation that returns security and stability to Somalia.

The Foreign Minister welcomed Kuwait's host of Arab Economic,
Development, Social Summit to be held early next year as well as
Qatar's host of the Arab-Latin American Summit next fall. He also
renewed the invitation to attend the 6th Arab-Japanese Forum in
Riyadh early next November.

Prince Saud expressed deep condolences to the Egyptian people on the
victims in Jabal Mukattam incident, praying to Allah Almighty to
bless the souls of the deceased and heal the injured in the incident.

The Foreign Minister commended the efforts made by Djibouti's
Minister of Foreign Affairs Mahamoud Ali Youssouf during his
chairmanship of the previous session and thanked the Secretary
General of Arab League.

The Kingdom's delegation to the meeting was led by Prince Turki bin
Mohammad bin Saud Al-Kabeer, the Undersecretary of the Foreign
Ministry for Multilateral Relations.
