Arab Foreign Ministers hold session 8 Cairo

SPA - Prince Saud Al-Faisal said that the Arab world has no intention
towards neighboring Iran but the good and desire to cooperate and
have good neighborliness.

It is expected that Iran will exchange the
same intentions with the Arab world so that we will not make our
region a scene of other's conflicts and bargains.

The Foreign Minister renewed absolute support for the right of the
United Arab Emirates in the restoration of its occupied islands
through peaceful means, expressing hope that Iran will urgently
respond to this call.

Prince Saud said that the attempts to exploit cultural, religious and
sectarian diversity are among the main risks facing our Arab nation
to spread division and threaten national unity of some states. This
requires us all to double efforts to consolidate joint Arab action
and accelerate steps to complete the search and adoption of Arab
national security strategy and then the full and strict commitment to
it.

We applaud the efforts of the Secretary General to implement the
decision of Arab League Council at its previous emergency session on
a solution package to the issue of Sudan with the International
Criminal Court, especially in light of the positive attitudes of the
Organization of Islamic Conference and the African Union, the Foreign
Minister said, describing this as an exercise of the highest degree
of wisdom for not giving a chance to those seeking to incite internal
strife.
