SECRETARY-GENERAL OF IDEA IS TO VISIT

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A Secretary-general for International institute for Democracy and electoral assistance /IDEA/ at Stockholm of Sweden, Vidar Helgesen is to visit in Mongolia June 5-8.
Mr. Helgesen is expected to be received by the President, the Premier, parliament's working group, General election committee, several political parties, and by representatives of civil movements.
He will give a “Global Democracy and the Asia-Pacific Perspective” themed lecture June 7 at the Ministry of Foreign affairs. The lecture will be participated by decision- and policy-makers, scientists, researchers and students.
Mongolia became a member of the IDEA in December of 2010. The institute has 26 member-countries.
