PRESIDENT'S VISIT TO RUSSIA STARTS
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ An official visit of the President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj started Monday to the Russian Federation (RF).
The State Head has been received at the "Shermetevo" international airport with the State Flags of the two countries and guard of honor. Present at the ceremony were A.N.Borodavkin, the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia; V.V.Samoilenko, the ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Russia to Mongolia; A.I.Yakovlev, a head of the State Protocol Department of Russia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and other officials.
In frames of the visit, high level expanded talks will run between the Presidents of Mongolia and Russia. The bilateral relations and cooperation documents will be signed. The President Ts.Elbegdorj will meet V.Putin, Russian Prime Minister; B.V.Gryzlov, the chairman of the State Duma; Alexander Torshin, an acting chairman of the Federation Council of Russia to share views on the bilateral relations and cooperation.
Mr. Elbegdorj will give a lecture at Lomonosov Moscow State University to its instructors and students, will hold a meeting with instructors and scholars of the Mongolian Studies department of Saint Petersburg's State University. After this, Ts.Elbegdorj will visit Elista, the capital of the Russian Republic of Kalmykia.
The State Head has been accompanied by G.Zandanshatar, the Minister of Foreign Affairs; L.Bold, the Minister of Defense; Kh.Battulga, the Minister of Road, Transportation, Construction and Urban Development; R.Amarjargal MP; G.Monkhbayar, the Mayor of Ulaanbaatar; Kh.Zoljargal, the Vice Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry; B.Ariunsan, the Vice Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy; L.Purevsuren and R.Bold, advisors to the President; business delegates and media.
