Radiation monitoring system launched in Chernobyl
KIEV, May 31 (Itar-Tass) -- The Chernobyl alienation zone has received a complex system for radiation monitoring.
The system was built at the expense of the European Union.
Head of Ukraine's EMERCOM Viktor Baloga took part in the ceremony of launching the system.
All radiation control data will be available via the Internet for any user, thus preventing any speculations and misinformation about the situation at the station and in the alienation zone, Director General of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant Igor Gramotkin said.
