Officials of Federation of GCC Chambers hold Meeting

Dammam, September 08, SPA -- The third meeting of officials'
in-charge of Exhibitions in member countries of the Federation of GCC
(Gulf Cooperation Council) Chambers of Commerce and Industry was held
recently in Salalah, Oman.


The meeting was presided over by the Federation's Assistant
Secretary General Abdulaziz Abdullah AL-Zeyad.


The meeting welcomed all the planned activities and exhibitions of
the Federation for 2009 and decided to encourage the joint Gulf
participation in the international exhibitions.


The participants of the meeting also discussed a list of
restrictions and conditions of companies that organize these
activities and exhibitions. They welcomed holding the Federation's
officials' next meeting in Doha, Qatar.

The GCC is comprised of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates,
Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
