Thailand and Israel launch 3rd science meeting in Bangkok

BANGKOK, May 30 (TNA) - Thailand and Israel have launched their 3rd seminar on science and technology this week, aimed to boost bilateral research and development capacities.

The Thai Ministry of Science, in coordination with the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of Israel in Bangkok, launched the annual event here on Monday, to promote exchanges between Thai and Israeli scientists in advanced areas of research such as clean energy, farming technology and effective production techniques, aquaculture and resource management.

Taweesak Kor-anantakul, Director of the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), under the Science Ministry, said on the occasion that he hoped to see more bilateral exchanges and cooperation in the future, both on an individual and national level. (TNA)
