M.BUNDMAA WINS GOLD MEDAL

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A State Honored Sportswoman M.Bundmaa won a gold medal in the Judo Grand Slam tournament started on Saturday in Moscow, Russia, at the women's 52 kg category.
M.Bundmaa has had a bye at the first round, and then defeated her rivals from Romania, Finland, China and Russia. She has beaten Yuka Nishida of Japan at the gold medal contest. Thanks to winning the gold medal, she has gained 300 points for the Olympic qualification and a cash prize of USD 5,000.
An international master of sports Ts.Monkhzaya has won a silver medal at the women's 63 kg contest by defeating the opponents from Hungary, Germant and China. At the final contest, Ts.Monkhzaya has been defeated by Urska Zolnir of Slovenia. Another judoist D.Tomorkhuleg has grabbed a bronze medal at the men's 60 kg contest.
A State Honored Sportsman Kh.Tsagaanbaatar (men's 66 kg); and an international master of sports M.Urantsetseg (women's 48 kg) have taken the fifth places on the first day of the competitions.
On Sunday or on the second day of the competitions, contests will run for G.Tuvshinjargal, B.Ambaselmaa (men's 81 kg), E.Enkhbat (90 kg), N.Tuvshinbayar, B.Temuulen (-100 kg), B.Sugarjargal (+100 kg), Ts.Naranjargal (men's 70 kg) and P.Lhamdegd (-78 kg).
