CABINET BACKS AGREEMENT TO BE ESTABLISHED WITH RUSSIA
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ On Friday, an irregular cabinet meeting considered as necessity to establish an inter-governmental agreement between Mongolia and Russia on employing citizens of a country in another country. A right of signing the inter-governmental agreement has been given to D.Idevkhten, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Russian Federation.
Thanks to establishing the agreement, any foreigners working in a receiver country will enjoy freedom, rights and legal protection reflected in the laws, regulations and other international contracts. In addition to it, the draft inter-governmental agreement has reflected responsibilities related to a receiver country's laws and residence of foreigners. In accordance with the laws of a receiver country, educational certificates and professional diplomas will be accepted by the receiver country if the person works on only special jobs.
According to statistics by Russian Service of Migration, some 46 thousand Mongolians have passed the border of Russia, and 76 per cent of them have been registered in the related bodies of the country. By the year 2010, 771 Russian people were employed in Mongolia in accordance with the related laws and resolutions. This number reached to 819 by May of this year.
