PREMIER RECEIVES MICROSOFT EXPERT

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Prime Minister S.Batbold has met L.Bat-Olzii, an IT expert at the Microsoft Corporation, who has arrived here in order to attend a state consultation of Information Technology. Mr. Bat-Olzii has presented to the Premier a letter of Steve Ballmer, a CEO of the Microsoft Corporation on appreciating a proposal of S.Batbold to develop wide-range cooperation between Mongolia and the Microsoft Corporation.
The Premier has said he is very proud of those Mongolians who are employed at the world's biggest corporations. "You are proving that Mongolian young generation has a potential for working at any sectors over the world," the Premier has added. He has underlined Mongolia faces some requirements to introduce the advantages of IT in the education and health sectors in the first turn, to draw up comprehensive policy on IT such as ensuring licenses of software and information, and to systematize them.
In response, Mr. Bat-Olzii has appreciated the Premier's proposals about using the licensed programs and ensuring the information security, and then reported that 12 Mongolians have been employed at the Microsoft Corporation so far.
The Premier has expressed a confidence that Mongolian youths studied abroad will contribute to the development of Mongolia.
