D.DEMBEREL MEETS PRESIDENT OF NATIONAL BANK OF CAMBODIA

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Parliament Speaker met Thursday a delegation headed by Mr. Chea Chan To, the president of National Bank of Cambodia (NBC).
Mentioning that the State Great Khural closely cooperate with the Bank of Mongolia because parliament determines the currency policy, the Speaker has underlined Mongolia's economy is expected to boost and the budgetary frame might widen. He has pointed out that the world's nowadays situation urges banking and financial organizations to share experiences, and congratulated the Cambodian side on signing a memorandum with the Bank of Mongolia to activate the collaboration and to develop a sustainable cooperation.
D.Demberel has emphasized an importance of sharing information and experiences in currency, exchange rate policy and in banking monitoring, involving experts of the two banks in regional meetings and forums, supporting the trade turnover between the two countries, and of expanding the collaboration between financial organizations.
In turn, Mr. Chan To has said a signing of the mutual understanding memorandum has a great importance in contributing not only to the central banks' collaboration, but also to the bilateral relations.
He has added the memorandum gives the two states an opportunity to strengthen the relations by exchanging necessary information and representatives. Then he has briefed on state, political and economic situation in his country.
