Kim Jong Il Sends Message of Thanks to Hu Jintao

Pyongyang, May 27 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission, Thursday sent a message of thanks to Hu Jintao, general secretary of the C.C., the Communist Party of China and president of the People's Republic of China.
He expressed deep thanks to Hu Jintao and close comrades of the CPC collective leadership and officials and people of Beijing and localities for the warm welcome and cordial hospitality accorded to him.
He expressed belief that the DPRK-China friendship, sealed in blood and handed down by the elder generations of the two countries, will develop steadily through generations in the common interests and wishes of the two peoples.
He heartily wished that the fraternal Chinese people would register greater successes in the cause of achieving the prosperity of China under the correct guidance of the CPC with Hu as its general secretary and thus adorn the 90th anniversary of the CPC.
