Foreign undersecretary meets with Russian ambassador to Iraq

Baghdad (NINA) – Foreign Ministry Undersecretary, Labied Abbawi, discussed with the Russian ambassador to Iraq, Valerian Shovaiev, bilateral relations and procedural steps to implement the points agreed upon during the Russian Foreign Minister’s visit to Baghdad.

A statement issued by the Iraqi FM said “the Russian official expressed the Russian FM relief for the positive talks he had during his visit to Iraq lately and his wishes to enhance mutual relations.”
