Asif Ali Zardari to be sworn in as Pakistani President on Tuesday
Islamabad, Sept 8 PPI: Pakistan's President-elect Asif Ali Zardari will take oath of his office on Tuesday at the President's House in Islamabad.
Supreme Court Chief Justice Abdul Hameed Dogar will administer the oath at a ceremony.
Later Asif Zardari will address a press conference and present his vision to take
Pakistan forward, strategy to counter terrorism and strengthen the economy.
Zardari who is ruling PPP's Co-Chairperson and widower of former Prime Minister Ms
Benazir Bhutto won the majority of votes in Presidential election held on Saturday
following the resignation of Pervez Musharraf on August 18 to avoid a possible
impeachment from the parliament.
