Allawi demands open Parliament session to discuss future of American forces in Iraq
Baghdad (NINA) – Head of the Iraqiya Slate, Dr. Iyad Allawi, demanded an open Parliament session to discuss the future of the American forces existence in Iraq to make clear all the political blocs stances in that issue.
During a meeting of the IS coordination commission, Allawi said “the Prime Minister should inform all political forces in front of the parliament of the readiness of the Iraqi forces and their capabilities in case of American forces withdrawal on the due time, end of this year.”
Allwai continued “we do not know the reality of the Iraqi forces readiness, therefore, the Iraqi Armed Forces Commander should present a clear vision in this regard in front of the political blocs.”
