STANDING COMMITTEE HEAD MEETS CHINESE DELEGATION
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A head of the parliamentary Standing committee on social policy, education, culture and science D.Ochirbat met Tuesday a delegation headed by Dai Xianglong, a chairman of the National Council for Social Security Fund (SSF) of the People's Republic of China (PRC).
D.Ochirbat has said the Standing committee is discussing draft laws on such social matters as health, social insurance and transport reforms, employment and social welfare. He has said it is important for related working groups to study experiences of the neighbor countries, and expressed a hope that the bilateral cooperation in the social welfare and insurance sectors will widen.
In turn, Xianglong has mentioned that when he was a maoyr of Tianjin in 2005 he acted as one of the organizers of the Mongolian President's visit to Tianjin.
He has said the SSF has been established in accordance with a decision of the PRC State Council with a purpose to collect a reserved fund for tackling aging matters and preventing shortage which may happen in the social insurance fund. He has mentioned about an experience of Norway to collect insurance fund from its mineral resources.
Mr. Xialong has said he predicts that Mongolia's economics will boost, and expressed a willingness to support the relations in social system between the countries.
