Mullah Omar safe in Afghanistan; Spokesman
CHAMAN, May 23, 2011 (PPI): Taliban Supreme Commander Amirul Momineen Mullah Muhammad Omar is safe and leading Taliban in Afghanistan. Reports of his death are aimed at to weaken Taliban Tehreek heading towards success.
This was stated by Taliban Southern Zone Spokesman Qari Yusuf Ahmadi while speaking to Journalists in Chaman form undisclosed location Monday.
He told that when there are safe havens exist in Afghanistan for Taliban leadership they need not to hide in neighbouring country to control Taliban Tehreek.
Spokesman said that regular meetings of Taliban Central and provincial Shura are held in Afghanistan and it is controlled form here.
Strongly denying Afghan media reports Taliban Spokesman said that he was not killed but he was present in Afghanistan at a safe place.
