MPP FACTION MEETS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ On Monday, a parliamentary faction of the Mongolian People's Party (MPP) discussed two issues as a draft new wording of the law on company, initiated and submitted by five MPs, and an implementation of the cabinet program.
The first discussion of the draft law will run this week. The current law on company, approved ten years ago, "has successfully done its legal regulation in the last period, so the time has come to update it adjusting to nowadays requirements,' said MPs.
The draft new wording has reflected clauses such as protecting interests of small-sized shareholders, and preventing conflicts of interests in state property-dominated companies.
A head of the faction D.Lundeejantsan has pointed out they discussed ways of accelerating implementation of works to be done within the cabinet program such as salaries, pensions, allowance and handout of MNT 1.5 million. A related order has been given to the cabinet to study a matter on giving people health insurance and loans of salaries from the Human Development Fund (HDF). D.Lundeejantsan has said it is time to put the strategic mineral deposits into economic circulation.
