Maliki, Czech PM discuss participation of Czech companies in Iraq reconstruction
Baghdad (NINA) - Prime Minister Nouri Al Maliki and his Czech counterpart Peter Nitchass discussed possibility of participation of Czech companies in the reconstruction of Iraq.
Maliki said, in a joint press conference with his Czech counterpart "the areas of cooperation between Iraq and the Czech will include oil industry, mechanical industries, agricultural sector, and the training of Iraqi cadres."
For his part, Czech Prime Minister said that there are historical relations between the two countries, stressing his country's “keenness to expand cooperation with Iraq in all fields."
He also expressed readiness of Czech companies to participate in the reconstruction of Iraqi infrastructure."
He concluded saying "the Czech side will provide Iraq with aircraft L159 for training.”
