Bridegroom committed suicide in Niki Khel tribe of Zakha Khel

Landikotal, May 23, 2011 (PPI): Muhammad Omer son of Bad Shah Gul, a bridegroom committed suicide when his bride had either reached his home or was about to be brought to his home here on Sunday, family sources informed. This is a tragic and horrible incident of its nature that turned the pleasant environment in a home into a gloomy one. People have regretted his suicidal.

The bridegroom identified as Muhammad Omer who astonishingly committed suicide after entering into his recently well-furnished room in the noontime. He shot bullets into his head to commit suicide, one of his relatives told. The reasons could not be ascertained why he committed suicide.

The late Muhammad Omer was a student of third year in Landikotal Degree College and by the time was performing as a teacher at a private school in his area. It is to be recalled that in 1985 the same sort of incident had happened when Bahadar Khan, the bridegroom, was shot in his head with a pistol by a friend mistakenly in his hujra while his bride was on the way to his home. This is the second such incident in Khyber Zakha Khel tribe that shocked the whole area. Sad winds are blowing all around in the area after the suicidal of the bridegroom.
