SYDNEY (AAP) - May 22 - Sam Stosur has cruised into the second round of the French Open with a 6-2 6-3 win over the Czech Republic's Iveta Benesova.
Stosur completed the victory over the world No.53 in 68 minutes on centre court on Sunday.
Stosur will next play world No.67 Simona Halep.
The Australian defeated the Romanian in straight sets in their only meeting in the opening round at Roland Garros last year.
