MP calls for giving space for IA to coordinate with security forces in Kirkuk

Baghdad (NINA) - MP from the Iraqiya Slate, Omar Al Jubouri, said the best solution to the issue of security and the continuing violations in Kirkuk is to make way for the Iraqi Army in the province to work in a joint way with the rest of the security services operating in it.

He told NINA on Saturday that "in light of the security implications in Kirkuk, which are renewed from time to time, the Iraqi army must be given a way to work jointly with the security services there, and not limit security control to a specific side."

Al Jubouri added "not distancing the armed forces belonging to the partisan militias working for their own agenda will create a state of non-professional security work and become biased."

He stressed that "all that Kirkuk needs today is an armed security force that stands at the same distance from all political parties, if that case was not created, security situation will remain fragile, and violations will be possible.
