NEW SUB-COUNCIL CONVENES
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A Railway policy sub-council has been formed under the President of Mongolia. On Friday it ran its first meeting.
Chaired by a vice Mayor of Ulaanbaatar city D.Ganbold, the gathered have spoken about Ulaanbaatar railway's reconstruction, present situation of Mongolia's railways.
A report themed “Ulaanbaatar railway's reconstruction” has been given by a chief specialist of State property management and privatization department of the State property committee D.Bailykhuu, a “State policy in railway transportation”--by a vice Minister of Road, Transportation, construction and Urban development A.Gansukh. They have reflected in these papers Ulaanbaatar railway's problems and ways of solving them.
The participants have expressed their opinions and then considered that since all these matters have a vital importance in terms of geopolitics and economics, they must be focused on in a greater scope.
