AZERBAIJAN`S FM MEETS HUNGARY `S NATIONAL ASSEMBLY SPEAKER
Baku,6 September,(AzerTAj) - Azerbaijan`s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met Friday with visiting Speaker of Hungary `s National Assembly Mrs. Katalin Szili.
The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation in various spheres between the two countries.
Mrs. Szili stressed Azerbaijan plays important role in the region`s stability. She also underlined her country was curious about energy security.
E. Mammadyarov spoke of the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh saying the dispute`s settlement must be based on the principle of Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity and inviolability of borders.
The sides also discussed issues related to Azerbaijan`s integration into Europe, expanding parliamentary relations, as well as cooperation in developing non-oil sector.
