Nujeifi denounces Kirkuk bombings, demands government specify security malfunctioning reasons

Baghdad (NINA) – Parliament Speaker, Osama Al Nujeifi, denounced the Kirkuk bombings which claimed the lives of tens of civilians and policemen.

A statement issued by the Parliament presidency quoted Nujeifi as expressing his sadness for the “return of the armed attacks and the death of more Iraqis,” calling on the Iraqi government to “specify the security malfunctioning reasons and the necessity of quickly and professionally addressing them.”

Kirkuk witnessed today the explosion of two car bombs and an IED leading to the death of 18 Iraqis and injuring 62 others. /End/
