SPEAKER MEETS DELEGATION FROM RUSSIAN TUVA
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Parliament Speaker D.Demberel met Thursday a delegation led by K.T.Davaa, a speaker of the Great Khural of the Russian Tuva Republic. The delegation is visiting at invitation of the Mongolia-Russian parliamentary group.
D.Demberel has expressed a satisfaction with a regularization of the Mongolia-Russia high-level visits and meetings and with widening of the regional collaboration in border trade. He has said the state pays special attention to expanding boundary cooperation with neighbor countries' republics and provinces, to augmenting this trade and to strengthening the ties and confidence of people of the two countries. Mentioning about the biggest dates to be celebrated this year, the Speaker has invited Tuva's representatives to participate in their celebration.
In turn, Mr. Davaa has thanked the Speaker for the audience and conveyed a greeting of Tuva's president to the Speaker.
Mr. Davaa has said he carefully observes the bilateral relations and attaches a great importance to the high-level talks and visits of the state heads and parliament leaders of the two countries, especially to the regional and provincial measures. He has reported he is sharing views and taking necessary measures with boundary regions to widen the trade and create an opportunity for the people near borders to freely visit each other.
D.Demberel has said the visit of the Tuva delegation will contribute to strengthening of the Mongolia-Russia relations and to developing the traditional ties between Mongolia and the Tuva.
Present at the meeting were D.Odbayar, a head of the parliamentary Standing committee on justice; D.Oyunkhorol, O.Enkhtuvshin MPs; Ts.Sharavdorj, a head of the Parliamentary Office; S.Banzragch, an advisor to the Speaker; D.Bazarsad, the consul-general of Mongolia to the Tuva Republic; V.V.Samoilenko, the ambassador of the Russian Federation to Mongolia; and other officials.
