MONGOLIA AT ESCAP COMMISSION SESSION


Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The 67th Commission Session of United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), themed “Beyond the Crises: Long term perspectives on social protection and development in Asia and the Pacific,” started Thursday at the United Nations Conference Centre in Bangkok.
A Mongolian delegation headed by the Deputy Premier of M.Enkhbold will partake in the Ministerial meeting as the representative of landlocked developing countries.
A special body on Least Developed and Landlocked Developing Countries will meet May 19 in frames of a meeting of the session's senior officers in order to discuss main problems the developing countries arefacing and to determine the support for the region.
Representing the developing landlocked countries, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs D.Tsogtbaatar will deliver a key speech at the meeting as well.
