AZERBAIJAN`S ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT MINISTER MEETS HUNGARY `S NATIONAL ASSEMBLY SPEAKER
Baku,6 September,(AzerTAj)Azerbaijan`s Economic Development Minister Heydar Babayev met Friday with visiting Speaker of Hungary `s National Assembly Mrs. Katalin Szili.
Heydar Babayev briefed the Speaker on successful economic reforms carried out in
Azerbaijan. He said his country attaches great importance to strengthening peace in
region. Mr. Babayev also stressed the importance of developing long-term cooperation
strategy.
Mrs. Szili, in turn, said the purpose of her visit to Baku is to discuss expanding
Hungary-Azerbaijan cooperation. She stressed her country supports Azerbaijan`s
integration into Europe. According to her, Hungary is curious about cooperation with
Azerbaijan in trade, tourism, and other spheres.
The sides also discussed other issues of mutual interst.
