Ghous Bux Mahar condemns Saudi diplomat murder

ISLAMABAD, May 17, 2011 (PPI): President of Pakistan Muslim League (PML) Quaid-e-Azam Sindh Province and the Federal Minister for Privatisation Ghous Bux Khan Mahar has condemned the brutal murder of Saudi Diplomat Hassan M Al-Kahtani in Karachi on Monday by unidentified gunmen.

Ghous Bux Mahar termed the murder as a cowardly act and said that it was an attempt to effect the brotherly and deep-rooted relations between Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan by anti Pakistan elements. Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has always helped Pakistan in the hour of need and the murder of Saudi diplomat has grieved the whole nation as he was a guest in our country and he was performing his official duties.

The Minister demanded the Sindh government to make speedy efforts to nab the culprits and to bring them to the justice without any delay. In a condolence message to the Saudi envoy to Pakistan he prayed to the All Mighty Allah to shower His blessings over the departed soul and give courage and fortitude to the members of the bereaved family and the deceased’s colleagues to bear this loss with equanimity.
