President, Prime Minister strongly condemned killing of Saudi diplomat in Karachi

Islamabad, May 16, 2011 (PPI): President Asif Ali Zardari strongly condemned killing of Saudi diplomat on Monday in Karachi.

Taking notice of the incident, he ordered the Sindh government to hold an immediate inquiry into the incident and arrest the culprits. He expressed deep grief and sorrow over his tragic killing.

Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani also strongly condemned killing of Saudi diplomat. He expressed deep grief and sorrow over his tragic death. Interior Minister Rehman Malik taking strong notice sought report from concerned authorities.

Saudi Consulate diplomat Hassan M. Al-Kahatani riding in car CC52-64 was shot dead on Monday morning in limits of Clifton Darakhshan police limits in Karachi, said an official of Consulate. His car was ambushed by unidentified gunmen riding on motorcycles on Khyaban-e-Shahbaz road, an official of Darakhshan police station said.
