BA condemns attack on Finance Minister

QUETTA, May 16, 2011 (PPI): Balochistan Assembly adopted a resolution condemning attack on provincial Finance Minister Asim Kurd Galloo when the House reassembled here Monday. Speaker Muhammad Aslam Bhotani chaired the session.

Provincial Minister Zahoor Buledi moved his resolution unanimously condemning attack on Finance Minister Asim Kurd”. It was unanimously adopted by the House.

Speaking on his resolution Buledi condemned attack and firing on convoy of Asim Kurd in Dasht area of Mastung district Sunday night. He said law and order situation had so deteriorated in Balochistan, criminals were attacking ministers. Even Provincial governor and Chief Minister were not safe. He said no one was safe in Balochistan.

Speaker Bhootani said he flayed attack on Kurd.

PML MPA Jaffar Mandokhel said all knew who were attackers but no one had courage to bring the criminal to justice. He said no peace could be secured in Balochistan until the government took stern action against criminal networks.

Provincial Ministers Ms Rahila Durrani, Ainullah Shams, Mrs. Nasreen Khaitran, Capt (retd) Abdul Khaliq Achakzai, Haji Ismail Gujjar, Gulshan Lal Basant and others also condemned attack on Kurd.

Hamal Kalmati since entire House condemned attack on Asim Kurd so this should be adopted a resolution. He moved a resolution which was Okayed by the House with consensus.

Later Speaker Bhotani adjourned the session indefinitely.
