Liberal backbencher attacks Obama

AAP-May,17-Liberal backbencher Cory Bernardi has accused United States President Barack Obama of "not telling the full truth" about the killing of Osama bin Laden.
On May 2 Mr Obama announced the US had killed the al-Qaeda leader in Pakistan.
Details of the military hit changed over the following days as more details were reported by the SEAL team which killed bin Laden.
Senator Bernardi has refused to accept the updates and corrections were innocent, instead he believes it was an attempt by Mr Obama to put political "spin" on the event.
"It is clear that the Obama administration has been less than honest with the world," Senator Bernardi wrote in his blog.
"We were told that bin Laden used one of his wives as a human shield, then that he was armed, then that he was reaching for a weapon.
"All of which appear to be untrue."
Senator Bernardi's leader, Tony Abbott recently offered no criticism of the killing or the political aftermath.
"I congratulate the Americans on what they've achieved here," Mr Abbott told the Nine Network on May 6.
"I think it's great that finally the worst terrorist in world history has been brought to justice."
