Kim Jong Il Visited Nearly 80 Units in 2-odd Years

Pyongyang, May 17 (KCNA) -- Leader Kim Jong Il provided the heyday of the development of light industry through field guidance after his visit to the Chollima Steel Complex on December 24, Juche 97 (2008).
Since then he visited nearly 80 units, an average of at least two units a month, for development of light industry.
During his visits to the Pyongyang Flour-Processing Combine, Hoeryong Foodstuff Processing Factory and other factories and units he called for building modern factories as required by the new century so that people can benefit from them.
Recently he gave field guidance to lots of light industrial plants including Pyongyang Textile Mill, Raknang Ponghwa Garment Factory, Ponghwa Soap Factory and Pyongyang Mechanical Pencil Factory, encouraging people to the creation of a new surge advance speed for the improvement of the people's living standards.
