Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The judo state selected team will leave May 26 for Russia to compete in the Judo Grand Slam organized by the International Judo Federation (IJF) May 28-29 in Moscow, Russia.
The prize fund of the competitions is USD 150 thousand. A gold medalist will receive a cash prize of USD 5,000, the runner-up--USD 3,000, and the bronze medalist--USD 1,500. The winner will have 300 points for the qualification of the London Olympic Games.
The Mongolians have had one-week joint training with judoists of Chinese Inner Mongolia in the “Olympc” sports base in Orkhon aimag. The names of judoists for the Grand Slam have not been announced yet.

The Shooting World Cup competitions started Monday in Fort Benning city, USA. In order to get qualification of the Olympic Games, the Mongolian shooters of the state selected team will begin their contests.
After these events the Mongolians will compete in other tournaments including the World Cup of Munich and the Asian championships to be held January 2012.

A Grand Master of the FMJD (World Draught's Federation) and four-time Asian champion D.Erdenebileg is being ranked 5th after eight games at the 10x10 Draughts World Championship 2011 running in Emmeloord city, the Netherlands.
On Monday, D.Erdenebileg will compete with Alexei Chizhov, ten-time World champion and a former leader of the World Draughts Dederation.
