MEETING OF DEMPARTY FACTION HELD
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ On Monday, the faction of the Democratic Party's meeting (DP) rejected to discuss a draft amendment to the law on state service and other related bills.
The draft initiators want to grant an allowance to state servants who work in Gobi and in most remoted areas every five years and to provide them with VAT-free products such as rice and fuel. "This will be a sort of discrimination, and will trigger many disputes and arguments," the faction has considered.
The faction has discussed and backed draft amendments to the laws on crime, on criminal procedure, on state service submitted by the President, and draft amendment to the criminal law, and a bill on insurance of responsibilities of auto owners submitted by S.Erdene and other MPs.
A draft parliamentary resolution on re-approving a state policy in culture has not been backed. Then the faction has heard a report of the working group who is in charge of drawing up proposals to the draft law on exchange of agricultural raw materials and other bills, and ordered the group to continue working on the bills.
