MPP FACTION MEETS
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A regular meeting of the Mongolian People's Party's (MPP) faction discussed Monday five matters including a draft resolution on annulling some clauses of the rule on titles, orders and medals.
This draft has been submitted to the State Great Khural in order to adjust it to a law on regulating a granting of the Order of Glorious Mother. According to the latter, a 1st class Order of Glorious Mother is awarded to a mother who delivered six and more children, and the 2nd class Order--to one who delivered four-five children. Since the Orders are given only in case all the children are still alive, the draft initiators want the Order to be given also to those who adopted or lost 3-year and older child/children wthion these numbers. The faction wats to urge a consideration of this matter willing to award the Order prior or during the Day of Mothers and Children--June 1.
Other issues focused on and backed were draft law on lands, on land cadastre, on geodesy and cartography, on payments for land.
