Iran’s deputy foreign minister meets Bolivian president
TEHRAN, May 15 (MNA) -- Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for the Americas, Behrouz Kamalvandi, met with Bolivian President Juan Evo Morales Ayma in La Paz on Sunday.
During the meeting, Morales said, “The imperialist states are abusing the issue of terrorism in order to justify their actions and are accusing democratic countries of dictatorship and autocracy.”
Kamalvandi also said that the United States is seeking to divert regional nations’ pro-democracy movements from the right path with the aim of gaining control over energy resources and protecting the security of the Zionist regime.
He added that certain Western countries have closed their eyes to the massacre of the defenseless people in the region and have remained silent about the military intervention of foreign forces in Bahrain.
