‘Iran to manufacture giant destroyers’
TEHRAN, May 15 (MNA) -- Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi said on Saturday that Iran plans to manufacture giant destroyers.
Iran has also manufactured new battleships, which can navigate the oceans, Vahidi said, adding the warships are ready to join the naval fleet.
Speaking to reporters, he said the Defense Ministry is going to design and manufacture surface-to-surface, surface-to-sea and surface-to-air long-range missile systems.
