Three children killed in missile strike in Pakistan

Islamabad, Sept 5 (PTI) Three children were killed and two women injured in a cross-border missile strike in Pakistan's troubled North Waziristan tribal region, the fourth such attack in the area within a week.

Three missiles hit a home at Gorwack in North Waziristan, officials were quoted as saying by TV channels.

A total of 18 people have been killed and 15 injured in
the four missile strikes in North Waziristan within a week.

Another 20 people, many of them women and children, were
killed in a raid in South Waziristan by gunship helicopters
and commandos of the U.S.-led coalition forces on Wednesday.
That attack marked the first time that US-led ground forces
from Afghanistan had intruded into Pakistan.

Pakistan's parliament Thursday condemned the attack in
South Waziristan, saying such violations of the country's
territory were "not acceptable". It also said such raids could
affect cooperation in the war against terror. PTI
