Group of children in Siberia poisoned with gas at staking rink

NOVOSIBIRSK, May 15 (Itar-Tass) - A total of sixteen adolescents who
took figure skating classes at the Energiya sports center got poisoned
with a chemical substance Saturday, the Rossiya'24 television channel said.
"Out of the children affected by the accident, ten had a slight degree
of poisoning and another six had a medium-heavy degree," the channel said.
"All of them have been released from hospital by now."
According to medical sources, the poisoning was caused by
chlorofluorocarbon, which is used as a refrigerating agent at the skating
rink.
All in all, 26 adolescents were taking classes at the sports center at
the moment but ten of them were not affected.
Following the accident, the skating rink was closed and experts
launched an inquiry into the fact of poisoning.
