Russia sends second batch of fuel for Bushehr nuclear plant

TEHRAN, May 13 (MNA) -- Russia has sent the second batch of fuel needed to run the Bushehr nuclear power plant, Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) spokesman Hamid Khadem Qaemi announced on Wednesday.

The fuel will be used one year after the operation of the plant. The first batch was loaded into the plant on 21 August 2010.
