Douri: voting on VPs another sort of corruption

Baghdad (NINA) – MP from Ahrar Bloc, Maha Al Douri, said voting on the Vice-President posts in the Parliament session today “considered a new sort of financial and admin corruption in a legal way”.

She stated to NINA “voting on Hashimi, Khuzae, and Abdul Mehdi is a maneuver on Iraqi people’s demands and a waste of Iraq’s money. They should have tried to minimize the state’s ministries and posts, not to open the door for financial and admin corruption.”

She went on saying “unfortunately, the state is governed by political deals that deteriorate the people’s ambitions to the unknown, what happened today is the opposite of the people’s demands.”

The Parliament today approved in a vote on the VPs post as one package. The VPs are Tareq Al Hashimi, Adel Abdul Mehdi, and Khudier Al Khuzae.
