Exchanging accusation between Maliki and Allawi could create crisis
Baghdad (NINA) – MP from Wasat Alliance, Waleed Aboud Al Mohammadi, expressed regret for the failure of the political blocs to reach an agreement about the security ministers.
Al Iraqi Al Yaoum website quoted him as saying “unfortunately, the political blocs failed in ending the security ministers’ issue for good, especially that the parliament is approaching the legislative term break and we cannot push it back, constitutionally, because it was postponed more than once.”
He pointed out that the recent exchanged accusations between Prime Minister, Nouri Al Maliki, and Iraqiya Slate leader, Iyad Allawi, could tense the political process more than it is tensed now, a matter that will definitely postpone the selection of security ministers.
