Hot weather forecast for Karachi, up to 47.5 C

Karachi, May 12, 2011 (PPI): The Met. Office has forecast hot and dry weather with maximum temperature of 36 to 38 degrees centigrade in Karachi on Friday. Hot/very hot weather would prevail over the region.

The highest maximum temperature of 47.5 degrees centigrade was recorded at Moen Jo Daro in Sindh while lowest minimum temperature of 11.0 degrees centigrade at Kalat hill station, Balochistan on Thursday.
