9yo Vic girl escapes abduction attempt

A nine-year-old girl has escaped an attempted abduction after being approached by a man asking her if she wanted a lift in his car.
The girl was walking along Gulwa Avenue, Frankston about 3.40pm (AEST) on Wednesday when a black Mitsubishi Magna pulled up next to her.
A man driving the car asked the girl if she wanted a lift, but she refused.
The driver and a woman got out of the car, one of them grabbing the hood of the girl's raincoat, but she managed to break free and ran away.
The man is described as aged between 40 and 50 years, of dark complexion with dark hair and was wearing a black T-shirt and black pants during the attack.
The woman is described as aged between 15 and 16 years, with a dark complexion, dark hair and wearing a red top and black pants.
