SCHOLARS DISCUSS MONGOLIA'S PARTICIPATION IN SCO
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A discussion themed "The 10th anniversary of Shanghai Cooperation Organization, prospects: Participation of Mongolia" was held Wednesday on occasion of the SCO's 10th anniversary.
Organized by the Department of Neighbor Countries of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the discussion has aimed to hear positions and opinions of scholars and researchers concerning a history of Mongolia's participation in activities of the SCO, its further participation and future activities, and to share related information.
It has brought together representatives of the Institute of International Studies, Institute of Strategic Studies, School of International Relations at Mongolia's State University, National Academy of Intelligence, scientific institutes of defense, office of the National Security Council (NSC), and officials of related Ministries.
