Security tightened ahead of Delphian Games in Tver
TVER, May 12 (Itar-Tass) -- The authorities in Tver are tightening
security ahead of the 10th Delphian Games to be held in the city on May
14-17.
More than 2,000 competitors from 83 Russian regions will participate
in the Games. Some 350 law enforcers will ensure their security. The
opening ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 14.
The 10th Games are devoted to the 20th anniversary of the Commonwealth
of Independent States (CIS). Musicians, singers, dancers, circus
performers, actors, DJ's, photographers, artists, designers, cookery
specialists, hairdressers, and television journalists will compete for
three days to show their skills.
