Shahbandar accuses Kuwait of "looting Iraq's money, steal its oil"

Baghdad (NINA) - MP from the National Alliance-State of Law Coalition, Izzat Al Shahbandar, accused Kuwait, of looting Iraq’s money, steal its oil, and work on isolating it.

He criticized, in a statement to NINA, Shahbandar "the eagerness of some Iraqi officials on the good-neighborly relations with Kuwait at the time Kuwait is looting Iraq's money, steal its oil and is working to isolate it and suffocate it within the limited water borders."

Kuwait announced in last April the establishment of (the port of Mubarak) on the unmanned island of (Boubyan).

Experts have warned of the impact of this project on the dream of Iraq, the establishment of what became known as the Great Port of Faw, which is hoped to be a gate of East Asia to Europe and the Mediterranean countries.
