MONGOLIAN RUNNER QUALIFIED FOR LONDON OLYMPICS
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ International master of sports L.Otgonbayar became the 8th in the Prague International Marathon (PIM) at the women's category May 8 in Prague, the Czech Republic.
At the events that ran among 5,200 athletes from 50 countries the Mongolian runner completed a 42 km and 195 m distance in two hours, 39 minutes and 50 seconds. Entering the top ten, L.Otgonbayar has been qualified to take part in the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Before the Prague Marathon, which is the one of the IAAF Gold Label events, an international master of sports B.Ser-Od gained a right to compete in the Summer Olympics by taking 9th place in the London Marathon April 17.
